We chose Quality Bistro to celebrate my Mom's birthday and it was PERFECT. I noted on the reservation about the birthday and they wrote my Mother a personalized card and it was on the table when we arrived. The sommelier recommended an incredible bottle of red that paired perfectly with what we ordered and our server Karla was a 10/10. She was attentive, genuine, friendly, and gave great recommendations for apps and mains. The whole staff was wonderful. The vibes were fun. The food was SPECTACULAR.

We had a jam packed 5 days in nyc, but I left one nights without plans since I figured we would need to catch up on rest. My daughter mentioned she'd like to go to dinner somewhere close to our hotel (the Thompson) and I was able to get a reservation here 5 minutes later. Not easy for a Friday night in nyc! I had an amazing meal at quality meats last month so was excited to try quality bistro. I found the atmosphere a bit more casual than quality meats, which was fine by me. I started with a glass of wine and we decided to share a few things - tomato and burrata salad (amazing), chilled artichoke (always love a good artichoke although think preferably warm) and the lobster toast (so tasty, but wish there was more lobster on top). For dessert we got the chocolate cake, which was big enough for 6 people and SO rich. It was a little big too rich for my liking, but my 13 year old was all about it. An hour later we left full and happy. I really enjoy the quality restaurants in ny and would love to try quality Italian when I make it back next!

Pretty bistro with impeccable service. We arrived shortly before seating at 5 pm, so we grabbed a drink at their cocktail bar while waiting. I opted for the house beer which was brewed by Interboro; I thought the brewery had closed but it appears only the taproom is closed. I noticed they had Michter's 10 which was priced at $35 for an ounce. The star of the beverage menu is certainly the wine selection. I did not open the wine list, but I can vouch that it was large and hefty. I walked by some of the wine options on the way to the bathroom, and they towered from the floor to the high ceilings with various offerings. We started with the tuna tartar and the escargot. I loved the chips that came with the tartare. I believe they were pressed giving them a waffle texture making them quite airy. Probably the best escargot that I've had. The snails were definitely the largest that I've eaten making them meater. The texture abd taste of the snail was more pronounced given the size. As usual with escargot, it came with an addictively good herb oil / butter. Super savory and salty. It came with toasted baguette which I used to scoop up every bit of sauce. For the main course, we shared the bistro chateaubriand - a thick cut filet mignon - along with the corn creme brûlée. Beef was cooked to a perfect medium rare. I believe it was cooked sou vide as it didn't have the crust I typically craze for a steak. Nevertheless seasoning was on point. It was served with a brush of fresh herbs including sage, rosemary, and thyme plus the most delicious gravy. I would absolutely buy the Quality brand gravy if sold in stores. The corn creme brûlée was the most unique item of the meal. Was it a dessert or a side? Why not both? My wife loved it and had to make sure to steal a few bites before she finished it. We highly recommend it! Service was outstanding. Our service was super polite and attentive. Tables was consistently cleared and our glasses were always filled. Pacing of the food was perfect. The meal was $250 for two including tip. Pricey but worth it for this level of service and atmosphere. There were gendered restrooms in the basement. Only compliant of the experience were that the napkins in the bathroom that I used to dry off my hands were too starchy

We decided to come in to celebrate our anniversary because I had come in once and loved their food. We didn't regret choosing this place to celebrate our special day. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, and the dining room's ambiance was perfect for our small night date. Upon sitting, we were greeted with 2 glasses of champagne and got an appetizer and to close our meal, we were offered desserts as complimentary from the restaurant. Regardless of the complimentary foods that we got, the rest of the foods we ordered were truly delightful. The perfect seasoning for each dish tells you that they are paying attention to their food. And since we came on Sunday, the restaurant was quieter than the last time I was here, it gave the intimacy that we needed for our celebration. Be it for another celebration or just another casual dinner, I will be coming back to this place since the food is really what keeps me coming.

We came to Quality Bistro for our anniversary dinner prior to a show at Broadway Theater. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic. He answered all of our questions, had great recommendations and even brought us a free appetizer (they offered us free champagne to celebrate our anniversary, but we declined). My husband ordered a pasta dish that I tasted and it was fantastic. I should've ordered it. I ordered tuna crudo (our appetizer was yellowtail crudo and if you're interested in crudo I'd recommend the yellowtail). I've had tuna crudo come as an entire entree with sides and whatnot--it's a favorite of mine. However this is definitely an appetizer. So my meal wasn't great--but that was entirely because I ordered incorrectly and is not a reflection on the quality of their food. We got two desserts (well actually three since they brought one for our anniversary). The desserts were delicious--but big! We couldn't finish them all! But they boxed them up for us. The atmosphere is beautiful. All in all--I'd definitely recommend Quality Bistro! Especially if you have a show after because it was in close walking distance to our theater.

We came here for a work event and it was an amazing dining experience. I'd heard people rave about the corn crème brûlée and it definitely lived up to the hype! It was like a dessert for a side dish. The bread service was also something I'd seen on tik tok and it also was amazing. The bread was so flavorful and the butter was insane. They added all sorts of seasonings and spices to it. The vibe was super upscale and made me feel like I was eating my steak frites (you guessed it, also super fire) in France. If you're in the area...actually even if you're NOT in the area I would go try this place out.

Came here for a late birthday lunch and it was perfect. Very busy and packed. Service is amazing. Hear me out: $40 for bread and butter sounds crazy but this was the most butter tasting butter I have ever eaten in my entire life. I can't explain it. And you can't go wrong with steak and fries. :)

So first, Instagram made me do it. I am a live to eater. I workout so I can eat. So when IG hit me with a BUTTER APPETIZER I was like, next NYC trip, it's on. We were headed to see a show that evening so made 5pm reservations. This place is beautiful, with no crummy vibes: we felt super welcome even though I had hat hair (happened to be a freezing day in March and this now NC girl had to buy a Times Square hat to survive the cold) and definitely was NOT dressed up. We were seated by an incredibly charming hostess, chatted the whole way, only one upped by our charming server. We BASICALLY knew what we wanted, plus a day of NYC eating led us to a snacky dinner. The butter ($38) is a steal: sour dough bread, pickled leeks, two spreads, one a chorizo, one eggplant, ham, cornichons, radishes and greens and that beautiful, exquisite, salty, creamy butter. JFC. I could have stopped there. I'm dreaming of this butter still. I'm a fry gal (hello mussels and frites?) and these didn't disappoint: crispy perfectly cooked and salty but not too: ketchup and Tabasco aioli. Mmmmmm. Finally, the French Onion Soup. Maybe a sleeper hit? Some of The. best. French onion soup ever: that cheese pull. That CHEESE PULL!!!!!! Sweet carmelized onions, a bit of pepper and I was full but kept eating. This kind of indulgence is worth it sometimes, and Quality Bistro is that sometime. Please send me that soup. Thank you.
